Preparing for furniture pickup from our store in Scarborough

Considerations and things to know in advance:

Using a GPS: Use 1 Royal Ridge Road for best results.  (There is no such address, but that will put you right in front of our store building.  That's the name of the drive that connects our store to Route 1.)

We have little space for receiving and no storage space, because we try to get orders in promptly and out to customers as soon as possible.

Please reach us a day or so in advance, so we can be sure to have the furniture ready.  Merchandise must be paid for in full before it leaves the store.

For insurance and liability reasons, you are expected to bring your own people to lift and load the furniture into your vehicle, and are responsible for properly packing the vehicle, padding, and strapping down the furniture for safe transport.

For merchandise pick-ups, customers own the merchadise once it is paid for, so any damage that may occur picking up furniture is the customer's responsibility.  We will do everything we can to keep your furniture looking great and serving you for a long time, so let us know if something happens.

Customers we are working with in the store - some of whom have come a log way to work with us - are going to get priority attention, so it is important to make arrangements and appointments -- we do not have full time warehouse staff, and sometimes we do not have someone that can help you lift -- or to borrow equipment (blankets, dollies, straps, etc.) as there may be other customers present when you arrive to pick up.

If we are working with customers when you come to pick up, please allow us a little time to excuse ourselves and get your furniture unlocked/set aside for you to load.

Thank you for understanding.
